What exactly gets optimised?

The site you already have: page structure, headings, schema, internal links, and the wording itself rewritten answer-first. It is a retrofit, not a rebuild — most sites do not need starting over.

Is AI SEO optimisation a one-off project or ongoing?

The retrofit is a defined project with a start and an end. What follows — content mapped to demand, citation building, tracking — is ongoing, and you can run it in-house with our plan or have us keep going.

Will it disturb rankings I already have?
